Millets upma( korralu in Telugu)

Ingredients:

  • Millets – 1 cup
  • Green chilli –5

    Onion – 1/2 cup

    Carrots – 1 cup

    Tomato -1/2 cup

    Green peas -1/2 cup

    Cashews -10 -15

    Curry leaves – 2 sticks

    Water – 2 cups

    Oil – 2 table spoons

    Jeera – 1 spoon

    Mustard seeds – 1 spoon

    Chanadal and uraddal – 1 spoon

    Garlic Cloves -3

    “Tips: soak millets before cooking 15 – 20 min”

    Preparation method: first take 2 tablespoons of oil in the pan add garlic cloves, chanadal, uraddal, curry leaves then mustard seeds, and jeera when it crackes,Then add green chilli and onions, cashews roast them till light pink colour.

    Then add carrots and tomato, green peas and add salt to cook then wait for 2 min, then add water to allow boil, then add your millets and cover with lid to 5 min and mix it again wait for 2 min, lastly add 1 spoon of ghee as you tasted.
